Air Force Agniveer Vayu Educational Qualification

Science Stream:

• Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
• Passed 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
• Passed 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Maths and 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

Other Than Science Subjects:

• Passed 10+2 in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
• Passed 2-year Vocational Course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

Air Force Agniveer Adaptability Test

Phase 1: Written Exam

Phase 2: Adaptability Test 1 (AT 1), Adaptability Test 2 (AT 2), and Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Adaptability Test 1 (AT 1):

• Situation Reaction Tests (SRTs)
• 40 questions with 4 options each
• 30 minutes duration
• Scenarios from daily life

Adaptability Test 2 (AT 2):

• English proficiency test
• Lecturette round and Group Discussion
• Test of adaptability to work and colleagues
• Communication skills, English proficiency, confidence, and general knowledge are assessed
• 5-minute preparation for a speech followed by narration
• Self-introduction required

Air Force Agniveer Physical Fitness Test

• Running Task: 1.6 km to be completed in less than 8 minutes
• Bilingual test except for English Paper
• Results declared on the same day
• Medical examination follows for those who pass

Remarks:

• Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
• Medical Examination: Conducted by Air Force Medical Team, includes:
  • Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
  • Urine RE/ME
  • Biochemistry tests: Blood Sugar Fasting & PP, Serum Cholesterol, Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine
  • Liver Function Tests (LFT): Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
  • X-Ray Chest (PA view)
  • ECG (R)
• Additional Notes:
  • Random interviews may be conducted to assess expression and social adaptability
  • NCC ‘C’ certificate holders get additional marks
  • Final merit list is declared after consolidating marks

The final results and medical examination outcomes determine the selection, with candidates awaiting the all-India merit list for final admission.
