Indian Army has started date allotment for NCC special entry for 50th course. Candidates who have applied for the NCC 50th Entry, can now select the appropriate date and venue through Indian Army’s official website. The interview of NCC 50 SSB will be conducted at SSB Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore and Kapurthala. The course will be started in October 2021.

Educational Qualification for NCC special entry :
Graduation degree from a recognized university with aggregate of minimum 50% marks. Those studying in the final year can apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively.
Service in NCC : Candidates should have worked for a minimum of three years or two years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC and have obtained a minimum of a ‘B’ Grade in the ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
Age Limit : 19 to 25 years (including wards of Battle Casualties).

Eligibility For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel : The vacancies under this are available to wards of Battle casualties specified as :
*****Unmarried sons and unmarried daughters including legally adopted
- Killed in action.
- Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted).
- Died of wound or injuries (Other than self-inflicted).

Selection Procedure Of NCC Special Entry Scheme :
Application will be short listed on the basis of merit. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB. Candidates will go through the two-stage SSB selection procedure. Candidates who clear Stage I will go to Stage II, others will be returned on the same day. Recommended candidates will go through a medical examination. Candidates, who will be declared medically fit, will get a joining letter for training in the order of merit.
Training : Selected candidates will go for Pre-Commission training for a period of 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai. Cadets are not allowed to marry during the training.
