Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to attend India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue in Washington on 11 April, To Also Visit US Indo-Pacific Command HQ at Hawaii

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the United States of America between 11 to 14 April to attend India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue in Washington. He will separately meet with US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin in Pentagon and is also scheduled to visit the US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) headquarters during his four-day visit to US.

The Defence Minister, along with the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, will participate in the India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue on 11 April. The US will be represented in the Dialogue by Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin.

After the meet, Singh will separately meet with Austin in Pentagon to discuss defence cooperation including defence industrial collaboration and capability building through military-to-military engagements, according to a Defence Ministry release.

Singh is also scheduled to visit the Headquarters of US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) at Hawaii after his visit to Washington DC.
