Indian Airforce has released a notification for the recruitment of unmarried male eligible candidates from the designated Districts of West Bengal and Sikkim states. The candidates who are interested and fulfil the eligibility required for the post must report on the rally venue on 25th September 2018 and 28th September 2018 at 10:00 am. The venue for the rally is “4 ASC (Near Palta gate), Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal”. The other important details related to the recruitment are given below.

Selection Procedure for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018-19 Airmen (Group Y) posts
- PFT (Physical Fitness Test)- Candidates must complete 1.6 km run in 6 minutes & 30 second and 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups & 20 squats in stipulated time to qualify PFT.
- Written Test– Qualified candidates of PFT will be allowed for the written test. The question paper will have MCQ type questions of the bilingual medium. The duration of the test will be 45 minutes and the result will also be announced on the same day.
- Adaptability Test I– The qualified candidates of written test will take up Adaptability Test I. This test will evaluate the candidates in different situations such as geographical terrain, weather, operational conditions etc.
- Adaptability Test II– The qualified candidates of Adaptability Test I will be allowed to take part in Adaptability Test II. Through this test, the eligible candidates will be selected who will adapt the environment of Indian Air Force and are able to adjust the lifestyle of the military.
