The selection procedure will be same as UES i.e. written exam, SSB Interview and Medical Examination. The training will be carried out in IMA after selection.

- The candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Bachelor Degree from a recognized University are eligible to apply for TGS.
- The age limit of the candidates must be between 20 to 27 years.
- The candidates must have scored 70% in Bachelor Degree.

SSC (Short Service Commission) Technical Entry
In SSC technical the candidates will get entry Indian Army for short period of time, hence it is named as Short Service Commission.
