Territorial Army 2021 notification has been released, application process will start from 20 July 2021 and the last date is 19 August 2021. Check the eligibility criteria before application. The Territorial Army exam date will be conducted on 26 September 2021. This is a golden opportunity for the civilian candidate, as in 2020 this exam was canceled due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Eligibility Criteria For Territorial Army Exam 2021 :
Education Qualification : Candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream.
Age Limit For TA : Candidate must be between 18 to 42 years on the date of application.
Physical Standards : A candidate must be physically and medically fit in all aspects.
****Serving members of the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/ ParaMilitary/ GRIEF and other forces are not eligible.
Eyesight Standard Of Territorial Army : Candidate’ eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses and should not be worse than 6/12 with glasses. Limits for myopia is 0.75D and +1.5D for Hypermetropia. Candidates should not have colour or night blindness.

Body Measurement Required In TA :
- Candidate’s height should not be less than 157cm.
- Candidates should have a standard body weight as per height.
- Candidates should not carry any genetic disease like gynecomastia, joint knees, colour blindness or night blindness.
- Candidate’s chest should be well developed with a minimum expansion of 5cm.
- Elbow should not be turned in the outer direction for more than 15 degrees and the joint and bones should be completely fine.
****Ex-Servicemen have to appear only for the Interview, they do not need to follow the upper 4 stages of the selection process.
Screening stage : The candidates who have applied for the TA written exam are called for the screening. It involves two exams. First is the written exam which consists of Reasoning, Elementary mathematics, General Knowledge and English. Second part is the Preliminary Interview Board which is an interview round.
Service Selection Board : The selected candidates will be called for SSB.

Medical Examination : SSB qualified candidates have to go through a proper medical examination, conducted as per standards set by Military Hospital.
Exam Pattern Of Territorial Army 2021 : Exam will be objective type and offline (Pen and Paper Mode). For wrong answers there will be a negative marking scheme. The candidate will have to score at least 40% in each paper and an overall average 50% to clear for the next phase.
