The President of India is supreme commander of all three armed forces. Indian Army majorly divided in two parts – Combat Arms and Services. The Combat Arms consists of soldiers, who participate in the search operation. Apart from the Combat Arms, the rest are all kept under the services. The Indian Army command centers is divided into 7 commands. Apart from 7 commands, the Indian army has an independent parachute brigade, which is located in Agra. The Parachute Brigade comes directly under the Chief of the Army Staff.
