“Who Got Recommended? Oh, It’s Tadaji!”
When the news arrived that Devendra Bishnoi had been recommended for the Officers Training Academy (OTA), there was a brief moment of confusion. We weren’t quite sure who this “Devendra” was that everyone was celebrating. It was only when someone clarified, “It’s Tadaji!” that we knew. Known for his soft-spoken nature and gentle spirit, Tadaji’s nickname had taken on a life of its own. Hearing of his success brought smiles and cheers from all who remembered him fondly by this special name.
The “Decent” Student in a Batch Full of Achievers
Tadaji’s batch was exceptional—all of his batchmates cleared exams like the CDS and CAPF (AC), making it a group of achievers. Among these high-flying individuals, Tadaji was often considered a “decent” student. He was humble, respectful, and always took things in stride—never overly confident, just grounded. As we like to say, it’s the humble ones who often make it, not the over-smart or overly confident. Tadaji proved that sometimes, being steady and genuine can take you just as far, if not further, than being a top scorer.
The Power of Humility and Hard Work
Humility is necessary not only for learning but also for succeeding. It’s a time-tested theory—our sages and Upanishads have been proponents of this for ages. Tadaji embodied this wisdom wholeheartedly. He took his studies seriously, learned from his mentors, and approached every challenge with a calm and balanced outlook. In the end, this steady perseverance carried him through.

Now, as Tadaji prepares to step into the next chapter with the OTA, we’re planning a grand reunion for his entire batch. We can’t let him go without a proper celebration—a feast to mark not just his success, but the bonds and memories shared by this special group.
